In the mid-'90s, Henry dreamed of building a powerful, yet easy-to-use tree shear for the average working man. In the spring of 1999, he made that dream a reality when he established MightyAxe, Inc.

Henry consulted with a well-known John Deere engineering veteran to build the initial specs for a tree shear that would be easy to operate for ranchers and farmers, helping them clear trees and brush. He built the first MightyAxe Tree Shear in the summer of 1999.

MightyAxe tree shear was put to the test early on by Henry and his associates before any model was sold commercially. Once field testing was complete, some small things were tweaked and adjusted based on the final field test results. Just a few months later, Henry officially manufactured and sold his first commercial unit in October of 1999. The rest, as they say, is history.

MightyAxe, Inc. is a multi-generational, family-owned-and-operated business. We take great pride in our craftsmanship, quality, and customer service. While there are more options for tree shear manufacturers in the business today than when Henry first began 23 years ago, MightyAxe has stood the test of time and continues to be recognized as one of the top tree shear models on the market for farmers, ranchers, and commercial cutters. We continue to service the same loyal and repeat customers, all while gaining new customers and friendships along the way. We're really proud of our tree shear and honored by the reputation and relationships we've built over the years.
